AFF designed and deployed a technology platform for reporting and flagging corruption and misconducts by public officials. The major aim of this platform is to ensure that the 'bad eggs' in any of the law enforcement agencies are not sheltered by the system, while they carry out nefarious acts of the extortion under the guise of carrying out their duties. Issues like police brutality, extortion, illegal detention, and other irregular activities constitute flaggable offences, of which the technology platform, referred to as the FlagIt app, was created to capture and report.
The FlagIt App provides an avenue for an average citizen to seek justice through the appropriate channels and referral pathways that are available, while offering protection in terms of anonymity and discretion, for the security of the complainant.
